Measure of Success

Updated: Nov 25, 2018

I was asked at a recent marketing forum how I measure success at our theater company. Defining success for any artist is always difficult: Because I was happy with the production? Because the audiences were happy? Because we had butts in seats? It's along the lines of " how can you do all this and not get a salary?"

I love pulling people in from auditions and helping them bring a story to life - happy, sad, thought provoking stories, some times with music and glitter.

I believe theater is relevant and our culture is better when more people get to participate as performers, designers and audience! (please see donation opportunities on the website!)
